Jon, I like this one much better than #4728. The colors are excellent, and inclusion of the ridgeline and sky really place this village in context. I think I might have liked to see a bit more sky, even, and less of the grassy hillside. The overall exposure and colors are very nice. They give that razors's edge feel we sometimes see just as a storm is rolling in over the mountains late in the day. I do notice the inconsistency of the sky from left to right across the scene. It feels like you used a polarizing filter, but its effect varied as the angle to the sun changed, a lesson I have learned the hard way. In the larger view I can also see some very obvious haloing around the mountain spires, an artifact of your post-processing. Now I must find a way to visit the Dolomites and see this for myself.
