This image was captured on a hike of the famous Besseggen trail in Norway. Any

hints, pointers or critique would be very welcome!

Simon, a lovely scene, and unquestionably a magnificent perch. I feel you missed an opportunity to create a unique image by not choosing a major foreground subject as counterpoint to the vast fjord and mountains in the background. The hanging valley and lake in the lower-right might have been a very compelling foreground subject, perhaps providing the sense of an "infinity pool" overhanging the fjord below.

I completely agree, unfortunately what cannot be seen in the image is a steep drop to the right making it impossible to move much around (I was actually standing on a ridge when I captured the image). Sometimes Nature defeats even the best intentions :P
