In my first reply I used Rain as metaphor of shells of war.

It would seem that one must carry an umbrella everywhere these days.  There are no safe havens apparently.   Your metaphor for rain would apply to all countries, France most recently.  To turn a phrase from Meir,  " We all live in tough neighborhoods",  the World, it would seem.  Perhaps the white umbrella in this photo is a metaphor for hope.  Stay safe!  Best, Len.

Very unfortunately they have stopped selling white umbrellas in my country, but I am certainly searching for one.
