No complaints about the colours, even at these high ISOs.  Unfortunately for us Colt's fans the Rangers completed the game with better overall control of the puck, ultimately winning the game.  Thanks for your validation.  Best, Len.

Old?  Naw, these guys are only in their late teens or early twenties. :-)  Oh, you mean me!  I see you haven't lost your sense of humor. I can't tell you how happy your return to Photo.net has made me.  Believe me, you were missed.  Hope you are back to stay.  Best, Len.

Hi Len, I like the composition of this one (if you can have composition in an action shot), A good and funny title as well.

Yah, no critical compositions possible when the dynamics change as rapidly as is portrayed here.  The cropping comes in post, eliminating any peripheral elements that complicate the main action.  (sticks and body parts only partially visible)  A little humor doesn't usually hurt.  The Colts were trying to run this guy to ground but ultimately failed to.  Thanks for your visit.  Best, Len.

You timed the shutter release at just the right time, making the shot perfectly composed!  Very nice result!

Thanks for your visit.  For every hockey post you see here there are about 50 that didn't make the cut.  Don't praise me too highly.  :-)  Best, Len.

Vivid colors, dynamism, body language and facial expressions at their best. I love the way everything in this image points at the right bottom of the frame.

Lots of unplanned diagonal lines here.  Luck is good!  :-)  These guys are very intense & focused on the game.  Very fast moving.  As for the colours, I am very pleased with them, even at high ISOs.  The fact that the arena is lit for TV coverage really helped as well.  I was able to shoot at 1\1000 @ f5.6 with ISO 6400.  (sometimes at ISO 3200) even with +1\3 compensation for the bright ice surface.  Thanks for taking the time & for your interest.  Best, Len.
