Milkweed

Excellent, Jeff. Glad you found a spare moment in your (I'm sure always hectic) life to upload one of your pictures. This site is poorer for your absence. Great use of DOF to bring this milkweed seed swimming into focus.

Hectic is right.  Too many moving parts...

 

The photo isn't a game-changer by any means, but it caught my eye.  I haven't posted in a while, partly because I haven't had time to comment on others' photos, and I feel guilty.

All you have to do is wait until you're my age when you don't have to move around as much - or maybe simply can't :-))

Beautiful series of grey with nicely delicate details. Definitely an eye-catcher.

Post anyhow!  Great shot. It caused my eyes to fish around attempting to tackle the reality that this was milkweed.  Once I was hooked, I succumbed to its charms.
