It's always fun photographing a game.  My 'keeper' rate is increasing but 'spectacular' is still elusive.  Often, as is the case here, the presentable image is in the crop.  Most of these images are captured with an f5.6 lens, thus the high end ISO's.  I'm  beginning to see the advantage of the f2.8 lenses.  (wishful thinking at the moment) :-)  Best, Len.

Thanks for your visit & comment.  For ISO 6400 I can't  complain about the colours.  Working at the limits of my equipment here.  Lucky to have an aisle seat, no chance for a better camera viewpoint.  Best, Len.  

I was operating here at the limits of my entry level gear.  Gotta give modern technology credit for the quality of the colours at these high ISOs.  (TV lighting of the arena helped)   I used film almost exclusively until near the end of 2013 and never experienced such high quality.
