chapmanwr 0 Posted October 17, 2003 An obviously beautiful scene- but- this image would have much more impact if the clouds were not casting such a strong shadow across the mountains reflection. Also it needs a perspective lending feature in the foreground to ad interest. Preferrably in the left lower part of frame. A great location to revisit and study for a more thoughtful shot. Guest Guest Posted October 17, 2003 It seems empty, and devoid of a focus... yet there is a quality to that emptiness that I really like about this photo... as though the emptiness itself could be a subject. More sunlight on the mountains and waiting for the clouds to move from behind them would provide a more vivid focus, but then there is something very pleasing and peaceful about that great, empty blue sky and the reflections as well.
