cyanatic 0 Posted October 1, 2015 I like the off balance feel here. Esther (?) at far right, through a glass. An arrow in the street points toward her. Across the street in the distance a woman walks down the sidewalk, a human counterbalance to Esther. Slight reflections are seen in the glass of the door. Mr. Bayless' unique and off-kilter way of viewing the world. And here we get to come along for the ride. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted October 1, 2015 What I see here beyond the obvious is a holy triangle. I can't help myself seeing the dark post with white top far left mimicking the other woman with white mark above her head. Also the white line behind that post links to the sidewalk. Further there are lines and marks as extensions here and there - says the geometry nut... The composition itself appeals me too. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted October 2, 2015 The coincidence and the timing is remarkable Drew, the women, the arrows and the overall perspective, just great.BR, Holger Link to comment
aplumpton 16 Posted February 2, 2016 There is much going on in this beautiful photo. The expression of the lady is delightful and the magic of the moment is amplified by the stunning composition, the similar appearing but distant person walking with (apparently) a similar contented arms folded posture and blond hair, as well as the lines and objects that appear in the rest of the scene, as so well noted by other viewers of your photo. There is just enough of the latter to reinforce the emotion of the scene and likely that of the photographer. A memorable image and thank you for showing it! Funny, I once lived in London and I feel that your photo fits my memories of that timeless place. Link to comment
