The clouds and trees and the single structure paint the picture of abandonment. As mentioned, the overall tone supports that feeling as well.

You almost knew! I stopped the car and got out. I might have walked a hundred yards for a different feel but we were in a hurry...

I am happy that you liked this... Not surprisingly, if I stop the car for shooting something, that turns out to be something worth looking at when printed.

There were some friends suggesting a crop from above. I feel like leaving the picture as is would be better. It perhaps helps isolate the plant more.
