there it is; a new american burlesque story with Michigan Ave as backdrop... Beyond the main story I love the uncomprehending glances of the american passers-by, seemingly puzzled by the sure footing of a world they once knew turn all surreal and strange around them; it is just about the perfect subplot to this most compelling multi-layered frame!

As Carlos has said "a most compelling multi-layered frame".

Young woman's dark eyes looking at us almost charmingly...

The central dark figure trying to help the sitting one in some measure...

Two "natives" glancing at the outsiders (?) / newcomers (?) / strangers (?)...

And the photographer; recording faithfully... for us to contemplate.
