SUNRISE TORRES DEL PAINE - PATAGONIA (CHILE)

Beautiful.

Magnificent landscapes; Patagonia a dream!

This sunrise of the Paine Massif was taken from an unusual lookout not well

known at all from the visitors to that place. The old Weber wooden bridge

shown on the photo over the River Paine was, unfortunately, destroyed by the

authorities in 2012, when it was replaced by the new concrete bridge Weber II.

Quite a shot. Is the brown texture of the foreground because of a lack of vegetation?

Tim: The foreground are rocks (on the right). Below, are trees without leaves, it is winter (Nothofagus trees), and the yellow is the traditional Pampa grass. Thanks for your interest.

Daniel,   Only in Patagonia is nature this beautiful.  You are so fortunate to live in this amazing land.   This is a superb image.  Looking at Torres Del Paine here is literally chilling - wonderful!  Larry
