WJT 653 Posted October 18, 2003 how any sane person could rate this below VERY GOOD (that would be 6/6) is unfathomable to me. Slava, I wish you had posted a somewhat larger version of this excellent photograph. Exposure is perfect. Composition, intriguing. Regards. Link to comment
slava_epstein1 0 Posted October 19, 2003 Thank you all! Walter (by the way, I love your photos): yes, I should have uploaded a larger file. This is my first photo on photo.net and I do not yet have a good feel as to what to do - and how to do it - so that the results match expectations. I am sending you a larger file (1Mb) by e-mail, and I will be happy to do the same for anyone who so desires. Thanks, Slava Link to comment

juan_kratzmaier 0 Posted January 6, 2004 It brings good memories from my time there, the light is perfect. Thanks. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted August 29, 2004 What I really like is the colour gradient and hot it evolves from the dark foreground to the magnificently lit berg in the back. Truly gorgeous shot. Link to comment
blowingsky 0 Posted July 21, 2006 This rates as one of the greatest adventure shots on this site. You might have taken it from your hotel balcony and had to put your martini down to hold the camera firmly, but in frame...it reads like a dark journey to one end of the bright and unfathomable earth. The glacier is in perfect detail, counterpointing the menacing masses that must be navigated around. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted November 16, 2006 Beautiful photo. Your really got the exposure right. Now...may I have two scoops of that white floating thing?...no, no topping, please. Micheal Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted December 31, 2009 Beautiful shot! The contrass between the highly lit berg and the shadowed foreground is very dramatic. Well done. - Charles Link to comment
