John Denver, an artist I much admired, had a line in one of his songs;

"more people, more scars upon the land". This line came to me as I

was editing this image and I think it's appropriate. This tree is

along side an old logging road that is no longer being used,

unfortunately they left some cable wrapped around it and the tree is

growing over the cable on most of the sides. This tree will not live

as long as it would have had they properly cleaned up after logging.

I thought about putting this in the "Documentary" category but opted

for landscape. I'd love to hear what you do or do not like about my

interpretation of the this, in my opinion, sad scene.

I like the textures in this one.

I agree with documentary, but I think in PN it is missunderstood.
