This was not digitally altered nor is it really an abstract, so I don't

know what category to put this in. What do you think? Thanks for

looking, all comments are most welcome.

I think it is an abstract since you can turn it in many directions and it still works.  And since I have no idea what it is and have no preconceived vision of it (like you do in your visual memory), it is completely abstract to me!  Beautiful as well.

Wow, I'm a little overwhelmed at the response for this image but very pleased and grateful. I took this image with my i phone while enjoying a concert by Steely Dan. From my seat I had no chance of getting a good shot of the band so I found something else....the ceiling of the venue. Thank you all so much for the visit and the very kind words. See you soon.

Holger,

Abstract or Spaceship, it makes an interesting and attractive image.

Before I had read down far enough in the comments I was thinking it might have something to do with a ceiling somewhere. Now I'm facinated after reading that this was at a venue for a concert at just how big it might be!

Really like the tones throughout!

Regards always,

I was really perplexed as to what this could be when I first saw the thumbnail!! Fabulous that you decided to take an image of the ceiling!!! Really impressive - I know phones can take good pics but this is really good!

very interesting point of view and also the color and contrast are very gut. One capture with amazing perspective. Congratulation

well noticed and shot with fine saturated nearly monotonous color,as an abstract lover ,and if it was mine I would crop it in a special way to produce a perfect abstract,I hope you don't mind doing that with a single click using the perspective cropping tool in Photoshop as in the attachment ,it is just a personal opinion.

Regards.
