I think the depth of field is too small. The sharp area (dog's "face") is small compared to the rest of the photo which is too blurry. Maybe a tighter crop around the dog's head would also work. Alternatively a soft focus and a longer DoF would do nice too. Otherwise the tones are nice and warm.

This is indeed a beautiful image; it captured the emotion of the subject. I think the lighting is very good and what I especially like is the shadow over the eyes: that still lets us see the details. The expression in the dog's eyes is really sweet and captivating. The eyes are the windows to the soul...

This could have been better shot from at the dog's level or below. It has sort of a patronizing effect from such a high angle, and throws the rest of the body out of focus.

I'd prefer to see either the whole body in sharp focus, or, a portrait of just the head without the distracting chair. The chair could be great if you shot horizontally from a bit farther away, so it was ALL sharp.

You have a good opportunity here; keep trying different things with it, play around.

Nice. I like this one a lot. I think the composition and angle of view are just fine. And I like chair! The texture of the wicker is very attractive and inviting. I will however second the need for greater depth of field, although I'm not sure if the photo would work with more. Maybe instead just adding a soft filter would do the trick. That way the head is not so strikingly sharper than the body. Cute dog!
