We know you're out there somewhere Jack, now we have hope:D. I like how shooting at the glass picked up the reflection of the sky and rendered the your background blue. Nice work.

Now, Jack, you know that there is no inductive proof.

Nice image, though, regardless of your ontological status.

I have to agree with Holger about that blue background.  That makes this into a very special photo.

In addition to the blue reflected in the glass the texture through the transparency is pretty cool too. I'm glad to see you posting. A PN world without Jack McRitchie would be be incomplete.

Well you not only proved it to us, you proved it to yourself :) you know I am smiling, and as per your unique style, you chose an excellent spot to take an image of your reflection. The woven 'grass'(?) mats provided a perfect texture, even as seen through 2 sheets of glass. I am not sure what is beside you but the angular lines add even more interest to the image.  Still a man of mystery but one who gives us a 'peek' once in awhile. In this case, a 'welcome peek'!!! Thanks for posting Jack.  Heart is lighter.

Jack's Back and he's got a front too... I've always been intrigued by the multiple reflections in glass stacked one upon the other... Nice!

Not an image that one can walk past without pondering what 'it all 'means' much like life. As much as I would like to give a positive interpretation especially with all that fresh greenery, I really see this as a transition or departure lounge to the other side wherever that might be based on your belief system. In this image, the person (not necessarily you) has already stepped through that window and has not made it to the other side but the greenery could signify 'Paradise on Earth".

Maybe listening to an interview on NPR about the book called "tour of Bones" has colored my interpretation.

A custom designed frame for your portrait.

Oh! How I loved this comment!

Hi Jack:

Wow! You really want to tease the observer's mind, stretch the imagination and challenge his/hers photographic appreciation skills. At first sight, the frame looks off-center, while it is not, which is a great trick. An then the complexity begins....Is it you? Is it a frame? Is the reflection in the first white frame or the second? Why is that "window" there? In any event, it is a delight to look at it for a while and think of all these things. As always, a most personal and unique stile and signature is immediately distinguishable. Best regards.
