Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted August 13, 2015 This makes me think of King Arthur and his knights of the round table on their quest for the Holy Grail. Specifically the adventures of Sir Bors. Well done, thought provoking imagery ~ Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted August 14, 2015 What I like about this composition is that it is 'familiar' - to me and probably to many others. It stirs up memories of moments past. Whether it be in dreams, movies, books read. Most of us have experienced emotions caused when we are enveloped in fog. Dense for for me is literally 'terrifying' - but this image does not evoke that feeling because the fog is not dense. Dreamy, gentle fog evokes feelings of a perfect morning by a lake, a loon calling in the distance...morning birds as they flit about catching insects...the rustle of leaves in the woods of little creatures as they awake. Or it could be that subtle evening fog at the same lake as it begins to settle in as the temperature cools. The man on the horse reminds me of so many movies and paperback books that I have read that have had heroes that travel to all parts of the world in search of treasure, intrigue, perhaps a woman, or perhaps in search of what they deem is their destiny. There is mystery, there is hope, there is a sense of purpose as well. This was an 'excellent' recipe that tantalized my 'taste buds'! Thanks so much for sharing Pierre! Link to comment

Laura Weishaupt 3,780 Posted August 26, 2015 Wonderful POD. So much is left completely to the viewers imagination. Is the fog descending or lifting, or are the storm clouds gathering? Is the rider good or evil, or neither. Is the tree a landmark on the way home or a place to rest? Maybe it's the dueling tree and the other rider is yet to arrive. Anything is possible here. It's an amazing image. Link to comment

hyde 0 Posted August 27, 2015 A much deserved selection of the day. I especially like the diffuse effect of the clouds mingling with the remaining elements. Best regards. Link to comment
