I agree that the flower's coloration is presented well.  The colors are quite subtle and, taken together with the detail, present the flower's delicate nature.

 

Personally, I'm not overly fond of the brighter areas in the top left, bottom left, and bottom right.  They are somewhat distracting, leading a viewer's eye away from the subject.
