LenMarriott 9 Posted July 27, 2015 As David said, striking! Obviously photoshopped but if that was your intention, your exercising of 'artistic license', then I suppose that's OK. The rest of your B&W offerings are inspirational. Best, Len Link to comment
lookinglass 0 Posted July 28, 2015 Thanks David and Len. @ Len: Tones do look dramatic and unreal . not sure what you mean by " Photoshopped" Black and white conversion and tone management done in Photoshop. Some BG reflective elements burned down. Integrity of image elements untouched except for cropping. No cloning or elements change. Nothing that I would not do in my Darkroom with my enlarger. This boundary for me is fair game. Also, these leaves were completely wet on a rainy day which is what I was specifically after. The tones look that way for this reason as well. Hope that helpsregardsRajkumar Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted July 28, 2015 I've turned a noun into a verb with 'Photoshopped'. :-) I just meant that it was obviously manipulated, not transparent to the viewer as purists among us would have it. No foul, just a different approach. It all depends on your intentions. I think every photographer has tried photographing ferns at one time or another. Best, Len. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 309 Posted July 30, 2015 It's really something, Rajkumar! I don't know how you did the separation from the background, it doesn't matter maybe so much, the result is extraordinary good looking! Best regards PDE Link to comment
