This was at the Marie Selby Gardens, my son thought the trees

looked like dinosaurs. Your thoughts and comments are most

welcome, thanks for looking.

Thanks one and all for the kind words and taking the time to look. If you find yourself in the Sarasota Florida area at some point, visit the Marie Selby Gardens, it is simply a great place to spend a few hours.

Hi Holger, I was a bit slow on the up take, looking at the foreground trees I couldn't see it. But looking through the Picture there is was a "Dinosaur", Well spotted.

Gerald, I'm glad you see them, I tried to use the foreground trees as a frame. Thanks for looking and commenting.  Patsy it's always great to hear from you, thanks for the visit. See you all soon.

i think it works very nicely, particularly the dark-in-front/light-behind aspect. j

I see you took this image in 2012. Always nice to enjoy time away with family. I agree with your son Holger. What magnificent trees. Are they mostly Cypress or are there many Banyon trees at this gardens. I will be sure to visit if we go to the Gulf side of Florida on our next trip! This sight reminds me a bit of the trees in 'Lord of the Rings' type movies!! I am sure children love exploring in this part of the Gardens.

You're so right Gail, kids love the area. There are Banyon trees as well. I'm sure you would enjoy this place. Thanks for the look and write.

The thumbnail caught my attention immediately. I like dinasaurs.

Lovely depth and beautiful speckled light.

I edited it just for discussion

Tony, I truly appreciate your continued support, especially the helpful and constructive remarks and work as you did above. Initially I liked the dark and light play but now I'm torn because your upgrade is so good. The thing is I feel my original is closer to what I saw through the lens at the time, I guess I'll have to like them both. Thanks again my friend.

BR, Holger

I like the way you framed this image Holger with the tree which leads the eye to the dinosaur shape in the background. Well done with this very creative vision!
