All the leaves are equally colored but yet some are brighter than others depending on how the light shines on them. 

You've really used the light well here, Tony. It highlights not only the shifting colors but the repeating motif of the individual leaves.

I had parked my car and started a little trek which required me to cross a 4 foot deep ditch. Back on a level pathway, I had a location in mind and I had briskly walked by these leaves. Something pulled at my shoulders that caused me to reverse and take a 2nd look. There are leaves everywhere and before I take another image of leaves, I felt that it would have to speak to me. I saw variation of light and colors and an almost circular pattern. I decided to give it a try. I also took a portrait mode of these leaves but I felt more comfortable sharing this landscape version.
