The Devil´s Chair, near the Milodon Cave, is on the way to the Torres del Paine National Park, and is situated some 25 km from Puerto Natales. It is a quite interesting place por night shots.  It was new moon (no moon), and the light on the right is from the argentinian city of Río Turbio some 30-40 km away. The Rock was light painted for only a few seconds and the red light is from the backlights of our car, which was some 50 m further away. The Milky Way was just at the right place in the right moment. We stayed some 5 hours at the place to take pictures, as it had just snowed. But a light breeze transformed the temperatures to a -14°C, so we had to go back home after a while.

A very fine capture as is Daniel!

I'm somewhat distracted by brightness in the L R hand corner - if this image were mine I'd crop about a third off the RH side making it a portrait orientation to force the viewers eye to the amazing star sight.

Well done!

Thanks for all the opinions and critiques as well as ratings. Kenneth, I always take horizontal and vertical Shots, but I prefered to post the horizontal picture, just for the light of the argentinian city on the LR, taking advantage of the reflection in the clouds and also for the trees.

Great shot. I'm no expert on night photography but I like the light in the lower right. I held my hand over it and it looks a little empty without it.
