serge_moscow 30 Posted June 19, 2015 Very impressive! Interesting pose of model, very nice, mild b&w, nice parallel between pose of model and shape of the "vessel".I'm not sure about icon in the frame. I'd move a little this "vessel" to form diagonal. I'd add contrast a little. For model alone such variant is excellent, but for composition with "vessel" it's not enough. Imho.Regards,Serge Link to comment
John Peri 1,039 Posted June 19, 2015 Thank you for the very interesting comment Serge. I agree that the icon needs some contrast, thank you. Link to comment
WJBrowning 0 Posted June 20, 2015 As already said, love the contrast between the model and the jug. Excellent shot with great tones. Best wishes William. Link to comment
JPPhoto1664880217 7 Posted June 20, 2015 The strong lack of eye contact gives this image a great deal of visual tension. My eye wanders between the model, the painting on the wall, the pitcher on the table, and the books. One wonders why she is smiling. Kudos to you both. Jim Phelps Link to comment

John Peri 1,039 Posted June 22, 2015 And yet I would have thought that any form of trans-figuration would be right up your street Fred! In the meantime, I'll quote a remark you made under one of your contributions a couple of weeks ago ... "I don't know whether I'm amused or saddened by the fact that you've never commented on a photo of mine until now" ....over and out. Link to comment
matthijs 0 Posted September 23, 2015 Very nice! The pose keeps the eye moving.I don't mind the icon, to me it's mostly invisible.(probably because to me it's balanced by the dark picture in the next room, assisted by her dark hair that's kind-of a connection between the two) I do wonder about the tight crop.It might have been better if there was a little more room right and top.[about equal to the amount of space between her elbow and the left of the picture] The subtle almost-smile is icing on the cake.
