Ha, unfortunate English, Tony!

Thank you for your visit and your witty comment!

Caro maestro,

Ora, qui, il tuo commento dall'altro quadro avrebbe dovuto essere collocato ed è collocato, ah! Ma, non dici niente de la qualita de la "pittura"!

Grazie

Not sad neither and why not, funny it is if you think so! David? You must be wrong, it must be some character from the Macedonian or Greek history or culture! I know that cause it was pictured in my hometown and there is nothing else there, ha! Patriotic government we have!

Thank you for your precious visit and clever comment, Stephanie!

Cheers

 As far as I can see you made a passion for Greek statues in the front plan ,the tree in a dead world in the back and always a third new element ,which makes a new composition;

as Michael Linder says you are trying to get a sense of the world out of every composition;

if you allow me , I may perorate on this one (get my sense out of this picture); the cocks are fighting for the shadow of the dead tree ,they are stuporous ,even if they are colored; I am wondering if the statue has the left hand (he is a potentially Victorian Greek man statue and you can never know what he is doing with the other hand (maybe he has a sword ,so here can come your warrior...) For sure he is not Aristotle, because this one , was never in a wondering position , he was postulating on everything.

Keep going !
