How do you like the composition?

Composition is good. Time of day was good for color.

It is one of the best shots you have uploaded to photo.net. I would be very glad to rate it higher, but the horizon bothers me... it is probably because of the lens (24 mm) gives an impression of barrel. Still a wonderful shot and has this something that makes it distinguish.

I like the somber colors, but feel it could be a stronger composition if the rocks led my eye toward the small island and the lighter portion of the horizon, rather than away from them.

I like it! It looks very nice and sharp. Great color, too.

I like the composition and the colour is great. However as soon as the image appeared on the screen my eye was attracted to the curving horizon. Very nice though.

I controlled it while editing and controlled it now. There is only a very small amount of barrel distortion. I guess it is some sort of optical illusion that many viewers see the horizon as curved. This is maybe due to the isle or the fact that the sea is not the same shade of blue in the region right below the horizon.

The texture, detail and colors of the rock are gorgeous. The horizon also detracts for me. Good job overall.

By the way, the shape of this protruding rock reminds me of a turtle's head peeking out into the ocean!

The earth is supposed to be round, no? I like the image very much. Simple and striking.
