I think you've just confirmed a sighting I made a few days ago in Stayner, Ontario.  I was just testing the AF of my 55-200mm kit lens on a high flying bird which I couldn't really identify but now think it was a Peregrine Falcon.  Your opinion would be most appreciated.  Unlike your offering here it doesn't have much detail, even when enlarged to 100%, and if it was banded we'll likely never know. :-)  Always a treat to see your offerings.  Best, Len.

From what we can see it looks most likely to be a Peregrine.

The apparent "sideburns", wing shape and coloring coloring are consistent with that idea.

Looks like a good reason to go out for more shots of it.
