This is part of a portfolio named "The Wasted Future":I'm struck by how things are

thrown away, how are wasted enthusiasm, passion and vitality of the new

generations. Through digital manipulation, I propose paradoxical images of the

daily live of children around the bins and rubbish. If children are our future, and our

present is the foolish consumption, my images are visual metaphors for a country

that gets rid lightly of the past, that has lost the sense of the investment, which

does not offer opportunities to the new generations: a country that throws away its

own future. I would raise a reflection that is not purely ecological, but that takes a

character of denunciation and urge the building of a better future for our children.

While I would never have gotten out of this image the context you place it in, base on this one photo, I like the photo very much and also like the idea for your series. Within a series the context would no doubt be more evident. The vignette in the corners of the sky feels a bit heavy in as much as it draws my attention and feels imposed.
