St Kevin's Road is a narrow, ancient track, still visible in one or

two places, which winds down the gentle, boggy slopes of the Wicklow

Mountains towards Glendalough, perhaps Ireland's most prestigious

monastic site.

I'm interested in your opinion on content and composition. Thanks.

Very nice. My eye goes right to the interesting cloud formations, but I suspect this would work equally well without them, given all the texture in the grass and trees.

That's an awfully narrow road and creates interest apart from the above.

Phil, I like this a lot, wonderful composition and great lighting. I think this would have been "too much" in color, so I am glad you went for the b&w.

This is something I like to take by myself. Great composition with nice mood. The road, mid-layer tree and the cloud are impressive.

very pleasing image. The road not taken is what comes to my mind when looking at this picture. It was a good choice to use black and white for this.

A perfect harmony of light, tone, composition and the B/W medium. Congratulation.

Very nice B/W. Well working comp, perhaps even stronger with a slight top crop. The overall impact/mood is great. Well done!

I like how the road looks like water, or silver, and how it is isolated by the wilderness until it hits the horizon, at which point the silver from those clouds pours into it, like as if it were some mighty foundry and the river of silver were headed for some mold off camera to the left.
