Remembering Mom

I don't know if it is the 'physical act' of posting something....???? But this is the place I remember my Mom (pay tribute) on those Special Days. Whether it be her Birthday, Christmas....Mother's Day.  She is what Mother's Day was all about for me.  I hope it is a nice day tomorrow. It has been warmer, so it would be wonderful to remember her in all the beautiful things that could occur during the day.  I can remember her when I hear the song of the birds. Or perhaps it will be the sun filtering through the trees: you know, that very unique angle where you see 'light jewels', perhaps a few little insects buzzing by reminding me that it is Spring. And yes, the wonderful aroma of the Earth that speaks of renewal. If I am fortunate, the lovely fragrance of Spring blossoms may remind me of her favorite perfume. That fragrance that I always inhaled when I was wrapped in her embrace.  That is 'where we are for forever Mom'......always, Gail

A wonderful tribute, beautifully done and your words are really moving. The combination of textures and colours are really excellent.....

An uplifting piece of optimism and hope, yet appropriately ephemeral.  The emphasis on the nurturing of the seeds -- the future -- the children -- the cycle of life, I suppose.  It warms my soul.  

Happy Mothers Day, Gail, and Happy Mothers Day to my mom, as well. Most special day of the year, by far.

A fitting tribute to your mom on this Special Day.Both my wife and I are 70 and have the good fortune to still have our moms to be able to convey these thoughts to them in person.Happy Mother's Day to you.
