Forgotten Rituals

Interesting elements in this image, The little shield in the right upper corner draws my attention. Chinese characters? Where am I? The wooden cabinet, iron structures. They give all an alienating effect, may be an old temple and than i can jump to the forgotten rituals.

Well, I don't know what possible 'torture or pleasure' these objects might represent....but they also could be just 'strange bedfellows. I think the female is the one with more 'clothes' on.  I don't think she likes him.... :D
