Dear Ovidiu,

Only the two speedboats in the foreground, tells me that this is an image of today. Otherwise, it could be the scene of a daily life in the past.

Thanks to the tones that you've used, you've succeded in keeping, in my opinion, a very good harmony in relation to hue.

The granulate / texture in water, being also shown in sky ... is quite appropriate, makes it look like an old picture. Even paint in oil.

The line of the canal that leads to the bottom, the vanishing point in an infinite where buildings will meet, has magic in this picture. Buildings are very interesting and very well outlined, they mark this vanishing point.

Lovely canvas appearance to this composition Ovidiu!! You have such an excellent eye for the landscape of Venice!!  While it has an overcast  appearance, there is a beautiful depth of colour that allows us to see detail and colour. Well done!
