Mykonos, Greece. I am not sure whether this is apocryphal or not. A

young man told me (whilst painting his shutters red, by the way) that

when war broke out and the invaders finally arrived, it was forbidden

to fly the national flag. In defiance, the Greeks made sure their

ensign was clearly visible for all to see. (He also reckoned the

invaders were still around.)

In the week before their Easter, almost the whole of Mykonos was being

given a new coat of paint, getting ready for the coming season. Nikon

D600, Nikon AF-S 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR at 46mm, 1/125 sec, f8, ISO

400. Thanks for passing by. Any comments warmly welcome.

I love this image Jon. I think there is a purple haze on the whites though, but i am not sure, maybe my it's my screen.
Keep on shooting.
