Theo plays Flute

My nine yr old son Theo is enjoying learning to play flute. Its a joy to watch and listen.

I bought Canons 8-15mm Fisheye recently and this is one of my first shots with it. Used Hemi filter to straighten lines up. Think I'm going to enjoy this lens.

Viewing larger really allows one to see the dynamic image it is.  I really like the POV.  Theo seems to really enjoy many hobbies. The Flute and then his horseback riding. Nice to see a young man interested things other than Socail Media!!! I imagine you feel both love and solace while listening to Theo.

I'm really proud of Theo as he is determined to play even in the face of some pretty harsh comment from less tolerant members of our household! Don't get me going on the subject of social media and children.

I recall when I was about 13 years old, I tried to learn to play the Coronet - but I did not do too well.  Actually, my girlfriend and I were probably more interested in the young fellows in the 'band' :) I understand what you mean by the comments of other family members.  I think one of my brothers tried the 'violin' at one time....it was horrible!! I hope Theo keeps it up!

Thats an awesome shot. That was the look I was going for when I snapped my daughters pic. I should have been more aware of the background like you said... The window in the background gives it a nice touch.
