AlainD 0 Posted March 29, 2015 Thanks David!These are icebergs. Jökulsárlón is a glacial lake in Iceland. Icebergs detach from the glacier, drift slowly through the lake and flow into the Atlantic ocean before being rejected on the surrounding beach. This image is shot on that beach. The waves move the icebergs again and again, and together with the backwash create amazing patterns that can be captured with long exposures.The iceberg in the foreground is maybe 50 cm high. The one in the middle-/background must be around 2 m large and is therefore very heavy. Link to comment
