LONLEY......probably once very loved.  One's mind could play all sorts of 'games' if we think about this lost toy very much.  For some reason, it almost seems to be a perfect symbol for 'lost children', or ones whose 'innocence' is stolen - betrayed by those older who are supposed to keep them safe and well cared for.  And even while this 'toy' is 'lost and forgotten', there are the SIGNS that life continues, young clover and other plant growth is growing up all around it.  Poignant image Jack.

I really like the processing on this one.  The tones are quite rich and work well to elevate the subject.  What do you use for your B&W work?

Yeah, I love the tonality and detail in this. I don't think I find it so sad though, more sort of raising an inanimate object into being imbued with some sort of life, which makes it more surreal to me.  Anyways, cool image.
