This has indeed has a classical street aura (but who needs a Leica, if he can create photos like this with almost any tool? ;-)). This haphazard gathering of chairs and other roamers below the bridge invites to join.

Are my eyes getting tired on Friday night or did you keep tiny traces of saturation in some of the blue hues?

Thanks for your response to this picture.

Roberto - I only wish I could afford a Leica but I am thinking about springing for a better quality lens.

Wolfgang - I appreciate the in-depth commentary which has become pretty rare nowadays in this age of twitter. Your eyes are as sharp as ever. I desaturated this picture but left just a trace of blue in the bench to kind of provide a bit of depth especially with that chair at the far right that seems a cut above its compatriots

Good title. I was thinking "Chairs put out to pasture". Thank Goodness my retirement does not look like that. You constantly amaze me how you  'see' these photo opportunities. I may have already mentioned that sometimes when I am out in the concrete pasture, I think of you and wonder what delights I can spot.   I quickly realize that I am no Jack McRitchie.

This photo is full of details one can contemplate on....every "retired" chair is a character...that plastic bag looks like  IV bag, two careless guys who look like a puppets, dividing net,ladder....blue boards with the random dots....highway or some other heavy traffic above...and yes, the chairs look  so puzzled and somewhat surprised.

Cheers to you, Jack!

A very wise composition.

The putative youth in the back ground in a  frozen moment and the blue surfaces adds more interst. As usual very well done.

Best regards/janis lukas

In the nordic we use a lot of time to find out, how much place needed to show the sky in a picture of the sea,,,,,over there in the east, it looks like they ask themselves if there is room for one more thing,,,,great image,,,best niels

Chairs in a row remind me of mostly pointless work meetings where everyone complains about one thing or another and nothing is resolved.
