I like the composition with the split image and the three trees as the main focus points.

As there is very little colour anyhow, I would try a full B&W conversion.

Al,  Nicely done.  I ditto the sentiment of the thaw as a viewer from Minnesota.  I like the bit of color in contrast to the B&W conversion.  The mist creates a wonderful mood. With an image like this, can spring be far ahead?   Larry

This is very beautiful. For a 2nd image, if possible, I would move to the right to avoid having the tree appearing behind the pier.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I really wish I could have done as you suggest but it is physically impossible (impractical) as I was standing on a dock and do not have a lens long enough as the shore is too far away. Al
