Her face is cheerful. I am not so sure that the hands on thighs pose is very flattering to this young lady. And one more suggestion sir--- though color desaturation is trendy, I do not favor it for the fairer sex. Especially when it runs to the cool shades of green and gray....my personal prejudice of course...

A worthy experiment and no doubt a little different than the run of the mill portrait. i wish you well.

Maybe, the desaturation would work better of you could tone down the highlights. There is an animated feel to images otherwise. This look definitely works for nightclub or party images when one is working under different conditions but perhaps not the sort of setting you have above.
