Infrared carnations

So delicate, really beautiful and sensitive image.

Thanks. I'm surprised how this turned out with infrared.  Bright red carnations.  Macro lens.  I was expecting a very different look, but the gauzy softness and almost ceramic look to the flowers was a pleasant surprise.  I may have this one printed by mpix just to see how it turns out.

It is truly a lovely photo. I like the very selective focus and how each of the carnations becomes more blurry as I look deeper behind the front one, and the background just a touch of variation in tone and texture. You've made a great image with just a few ingredients.
