I use 'perspective' alterations in my Abstracts, but I feel the use of your original images that seem to be of drawings, plans, or buildings, have really worked well to give the feel that we could actually walk into the image.  There is a 'destination' so far away in the middle of the composition. Excellent thought process that brings all the elements together in a dynamic composition!
