You captured a wonderful intimate moment in this image. For me, it certainly is the most attractive and interesting photo in this folder. Some weeks ago, I said that I would come back and leave my thoughts on your swedish farm shots.

My guess is that you decided to upload this series (as you have done with the task force 3 meeting) in order to easily share it with relatives and friends (as well as, colleagues on the task force). The beauty of sharing images in this fashion is that all you have to do is send out the appropriate URL and everyone can view at their own leisure.

Although I cannot claim to have made any connection with the people portrayed in this folder, it still felt as if I've been introduced to them in a very pleasant/casual way. Especially in my other favourite in this folder, where you make a very thorough introduction to this series. I very much enjoyed the visit to a slice of life that took part over 20 years ago. It was a time when I was seriously considering moving to Sweden, as opposed to moving to Australia...

Thanks Peter. You're right. I frequently create folders just to share photos, many of which are really snapshots. But I'm glad you like this one. It is my favorite as well.

Now that we both have arrived at this image, I think it is appropriate to ask whether the device on the table is a tape recorder. Just wondering if Einar was in the process of documenting some part of family history...

I must say that I don't know. It certainly appears to be a tape recorder or something of that order. Perhaps a family member from Sweden can respond, although none have to date. (I may not have their correct e-mail addresses.)

Rather strange feeling I got at viewing this photo. What I see at first is two old man listening to radio, maybe taking some news on the latest war, while safe at home. They seems to be worried about something they hear on radio.

Anyways, I like this photo a lot.

I have different idea about it. To me, it looks like cold war eras' spy photography. I can feel some tense atmosphere in picture. If I were photographer, I will try with full frame fisheye to add more suspense. I like it. Nice shot.
