Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 11, 2015 Wonderful shot, the kind of photograph that seems to just spring at you, that is both subtle and dynamic at the same time. It's pretty clear what's going on and yet the imagination has plenty of room to fill in the details. I don't think this would be nearly as effective and perhaps wouldn't work at all without those shadowy figures in the background. They add needed context to the scene. Into my favorites with this one. Link to comment
M_Lipakis 3 Posted February 12, 2015 I totally agree with Jack, just to add that its the diagonal movement along with the POV, almost from the height of human eyes, and alternation of bright and dark areas that add drama to the scene. Keep on shooting. Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted February 13, 2015 Pleasurable balance and dynamism in this 'fleeting' composition. Very satisfying as it engages my senses... Link to comment
wieslawmamon 0 Posted February 14, 2015 appreciate your feedback. Jack, I take your point about the clarity, despite poor weather and light conditions plus my playing with zooming and panning simultaneously while pressing the shutter, it turned out to be surprisingly quite a transparent scene. Mario, thank you. Drew, glad you like it, the funny thing is that what I saw in the camera screen after taking the shot was far from what I had seen in the viewfinder before. Thanks for the compliment. Michail, thank you for your interesting remarks. Rajat, nice to read your comment after a long while, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Best regards to you. jeffl7 0 Posted February 15, 2015 The motion is great with the cloudy top and the dark, more detailed sides directing the path. Just enough detail to tell the story. Link to comment
