One of the things that works so well with this 'effect' is that you have a very strong image to begin with. You manage not to distort things too much and we are still able to see a story within. Well done Pierre!

Well said, Gail!

But, I still think I should have turned this one just in B&W and get one real street photo like, for example Ruud's! There is a story well told on this one and making it painterly doesn't make much sense to me now!

Thank you for your precious visit and support,  Gail!

Best regards

Pierre, A very well chosen image for this form of image editing. The position of the family members is very good, classic and communicating movement and vitality. I think the subject is probably made more memorable or universal (as we cannot identify the family) by your post treatment. I guess that you tried different degrees of the particular Photoshop artistic filter before settling on this optimum level of modification. Best regards!

Welcome and thank you Arthur,

for your thorough explanation why should I have put this effect! My only pro was the not perfect quality of the shot, technical quality!

Cheers

Veliki pozdrav, Pero doktore!

Cool effect, and with this image at least you don't need a model release because their identity is obscured enough.  I like it!

Hi, Christal!

Ha, they don't have to show fingerprints to prove anything! On some site when I was trying to sell my pictures they requested model release for pictures with people in the distance with back turned to the camera!

Thank you for your visit and positive comment!
