willem_dijkstra 1 Posted September 28, 2003 I combined one picture taken without sun and one with sun and used the sunny picture to highlight the shaded picture, normal blend, opacity 40%. Link to comment
wojtek_rychlik 0 Posted September 28, 2003 What did you want to achieve by this complex manipulation? Doesn't gain on artistic impression: the background is uninteresting and could have been left dark. Not great for a mushroom atlas photo either because it is obscured by moss. By the way, is it the halucinogenic one? Link to comment
willem_dijkstra 1 Posted September 29, 2003 Thanks for your honest opinion. I personally like the emptyness of the picture and just the single mushroom standing there, with good detail. I made this manipulation because the picture without sun was rather flat, without depth, and the sunny picture was too bright, taking the attention away from the mushroom. So I found a middleway. By the way, manipulation was very easy, just copy on on top of the other and set the opacity to 40%. As far as I know this one is not halucinogenic, but deadly. Link to comment
