Thank you for your attention and kind comment. I wish there was more a child or a dog in the middle of the photo. If so, it would reduce the negative space giving greater dynamism to the scene captured. But it has not been possible. It is a unannounced street capture without any preparation except the brightness of the dusk of the day. I was very patient until this opportunity. I think this is the essence of a street capture. Best regards. Roldao.

Yes it is that unexpected moment that you captured here Roldao!! The silhouettes express a joyful moment enjoyed by the children. I wonder if the girl was walking away?? Reminds me of when my brothers would always splash me before I had the chance to get used to the cold water. Excellent detail captured in the water droplets(splashes). Well done, your patience paid off!

This picture is an exercise suggested by Tom Persinger’s Edge of the Frame Project which is a part of PN’s Section Reintroducing the Monthly Project: Advancing Photography. The scene was obtained on the shores of Lake Paranoa in Brasilia-DF at the end of a summer afternoon, near Dom Bosco’s Small Chapel. I would like the middle of the frame wouldn't be so empty. But the action occurs at the edges of the frame which is the goal of the exercise. Thank you for viewing and kind comment Best regards. Roldao

Hi Roldao, I'm sorry I did not see your comment sooner. I like the image as it is and it does fit into the project very well.  For me, it makes the shot more unique. I don't think we always have to go by the 'rules'.  I would treasure this one.
