jdsmall 0 Posted September 28, 2003 I would say you should have asked the model to open her/his eyes. Or, if this was just a blink shot, that's just bad luck. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted September 28, 2003 ummmm, Jonathan, the bird was sleeping. Timnah's don't normally sleep when there is a camera flash going off. That's what is so cool about this. It just snoozed away. Link to comment
jeff d 1 Posted September 29, 2003 TC, This one is very good, nice closeup work. I would have enjoyed seeing more of the bird... you lost the tailfeathers. Step back a bit and let's see the whole package. Seems too constrained in the cropping as well. The bird should take up about 1/3 of this canvas in my opinion, and his surroundings should be there for the balance of the space. The background might make more sense to us if you did that. Get rid of that toy... it is distracting. We want bird, not toy. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted October 1, 2003 Okay, lose the toy; step back; keep the bird; catch his tail. Got it! Link to comment
deyjiavuu 0 Posted October 12, 2003 I will only say that it is a nice calming photo. With a sleeping baby bird in it. I think it is fine. Link to comment
