Expressive photo:) and a nice story - looks like they are friends after all- Flash is the only way to shoot these inside, but one thought that came to me was use of TTL - works in most situations, but the shadows give touch to the photo -like old boxing match feeling- so it could be an advantage here as well:) best Hannu

Lately I have been working at trying to capture the personality of my dogs. Jake, on the right, is new to our family (adopted in late April). We believe he had been a stray for a long time, wandering the streets in Conyers, GA. He is doing very well learning to be a family pet, and is starting to show his personality. Fred is learning to be the leader of the dog pack after Jett's passing (last June). Jake moves quickly when he plays with Fred, so photographing him is a challenge, which I enjoy.
