Dear Tony, the most incredible thing in this image is certainly: colours and reflections. Colours are separated by a diagonal, which clearly divides yellow & blue. Yellow of the leaves, attached to ground, bound to Earth vs. blue of deep water, endless sky, ethereal eternity.

And reflections: I think there's some distortion in the waves, which makes it, a very singular and attractive image. Especially I found that we can relax in this evocation (reflection) of autumn, a season, by extension, also a time of our lives. All with a very deep meaning. I like a lot!. Your sharpness, focus: awesome.

Kindest regards, ㋙

I like the somewhat cobblestone effect in the blue area, and the big twig sticking up to offer a place to plant the eye.  Colors are stunning, and overall it could be (as many of your works) hanging large on a wall in an art gallery or office building.

"Ground and sky clasped together" - Laura - such romantic words!  It puts my mind into a spin. You have described this image in a way that only you can do.  And I appreciate it!

Thanks also for your comment. I encountered a scene and I worked it with a few shots.  I have already shared the portrait version earlier on at Photo.net and I remember that one appealed to you also. This is in the landscape mode with a re-positioning of that 'stick'.

Jianmin, Joscelyn, Grigoriy, Larry - Many thanks!

Grigoriy - you are doing some really wonderful work and makes me want to try it.

I am making some assumptions about the process you use and I tried it almost 15 or 20 years ago but my PC was not very fast and it took too long to process.

Nature reveals such bold yet delicate beauty at the same time. This abstract succeeds in delivering vibrant emotions, yet soothing vibes. I love the colours captured within the reflections in the water. Truly beautiful work Tony.

Thanks Gail.  Due to many things keeping me busy, my time at photo.net will be sparse over the next little while but I do hope to be more active when time permits.

Tony - This is a stunning "natural abstract."The colors are amazing, and the little grasses, twigs and reflections are so simple yet provide so much interest - so much to  detail to visually dissect.
