gungajim 75 Posted January 15, 2015 Pat, you might consider using content-aware fill, clone stamp or healing brush to remove white spot on left, or just crop it off. Otherwise, a nice shot. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted January 15, 2015 Right now I could go for 'thatch' or 'vinyl' !! as long as the sea is that colour and it is warm!! We have neighbors who are going to Viet Nam in a few weeks for a wedding. Seems so very far away. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted January 16, 2015 Hi Pat, I'm with Jim Downs on this one. It's a nice composition. I could use this inviting warm setting right now in Minnesota. I couldn't resist tinkering. Please don't be offended. First, I applied auto white balance that cut down the blue cast. The image was blown out on both ends in PS6, so I cut the highlights way down. I used the Nik Software filters for pre-sharpening and then reduced brightness and added a bit of structure to enhance the texture in the straw and sand. Finally, i applied an ND filter reducing exposure by about .50 in the upper half of the image. And, a cropped out the white blotch on the left along with some of the sky. Obviously, i like the image, otherwise why do this stuff. All of this is pretty much my routine in processing my images. Larry Link to comment
