margaret_s. 0 Posted September 28, 2003 Absolument superbe. La photo donne definitivement l'impression d'une ancienne epoque parcontre ce que je trouve particulierement genial c'est que le fond flou me fait presque croire qu'ils sont pris a l'interieur d'un couloir de temps et d'espace. (Time travel?) Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted September 28, 2003 Very suggestive image. I love this colour! Link to comment
curra 0 Posted September 28, 2003 I agree with Margaret , Robert , Armindo ....... congrats !! Link to comment
Bye. Fab. joel_le_montagner 0 Posted September 28, 2003 OK, Fab, i change the title. The fish way (la route du poisson) is a race from boulogne sur mer to paris (300 km, ), in memory to the time where the fish was transported with horses (before railway) Link to comment
ciofalo 0 Posted September 29, 2003 Great. Usually I am not too enthusiastic of manipulated images, but surely this works. Only, I am curious of seeing the original image both in color and in B&W - surely it is beautiful as well. I think this is one of the best horse photos ever posted in PN, together with the much discussed "aggression in action" by Zaher Malik. Link to comment
almagnus 0 Posted September 29, 2003 This is a demonstration of how to break the rules. A fantastic dirty grey photo! Take lessons. No doubt, a 7/7. Bravo, et donnes-nous encore plein du genre. Link to comment
digitri 0 Posted September 29, 2003 This is the stuff that makes the 'anti postprocessing gurus' keep very quiet :-)) Link to comment
joel_le_montagner 0 Posted September 29, 2003 Thanks for all comments and ratings ! The original shot ? it's not interesting. Another pic of this fish way ? yes, i upload. About manipulated pics : I think that the reality is not always very nice, I think that all is permitted in art, why not in photography ? A painter modify the reality, why not a photograh ? It's my vision of this race, even it's not reality... But as you say, nobody contest this pic. One more time: thank you ! Link to comment
kathy_strong 0 Posted September 30, 2003 I don't even mind that you PS'd the snot out of it! I'd favor a bit more contrast but its a winner just as you presented it. Link to comment
damian_eden 0 Posted September 30, 2003 Sometimes you push to far. The mistake here is the people dont match the setting - we know it is a snapshot taken recently. But the software work is okay. Link to comment
